Publisher partnerships

Working with publishers

My work isn't limited to self-published authors. I also collaborate directly with small publishing houses — stepping in to give their publicity efforts an extra boost when resources are stretched.

If you're being published by a smaller press, you don't have to choose between your publisher's support and additional PR firepower. I'm happy to work alongside your publishing team, complementing what they're already doing to make sure your book gets the attention it deserves.

A great example of this is my work with author Stephanie Elizondo Griest on her debut, Art Above Everything, published by Beacon Press — an independent press with a strong and purposeful list. Working in tandem with their team, I secured a series of interviews and features for Stephanie, including appearances on:

Whether you're independently published or backed by a small press, the goal is the same: getting your book — and your voice — in front of the right people.

Clients who come back

I first worked with author and coach Marie Major between July and November 2025. Over those months, we focused on positioning her book effectively, securing reviews, and building the kind of media presence that opens doors. The collaboration resulted in several podcast bookings — exactly the platform Marie needed to reach her audience and amplify her message.

When Marie rebranded her coaching website at the start of 2026, she knew she wanted another PR push to match her fresh direction. We reconnected in March 2026, updated her press kit, and refreshed her outreach communications to reflect who she was now and where she was headed. The result was another successful series of podcast bookings to accompany her new chapter, including appearances on Together We Seek, Dare to Dream with Debbi Dachinger, The Past Life Regressionist, and the 11:11 Podcast.

Marie is now channelling that momentum into building her personal YouTube channel — creating new content and continuing to grow the audience we helped her reach.

Her story is a reminder that PR isn't a one-time event. As you evolve, your story evolves too.

Persistence in practice

Take Two

Persistence is at the heart of everything I do. When something isn't working, I don't give up — I simply go back to the drawing board.

When I began working with debut author Dion Elliott Jensen on his book Conscious Footsteps, the first few weeks were quiet — too quiet. Four weeks in, we had not secured a single podcast booking. Rather than accepting the result, I took a step back, reassessed the approach, and completely reworked our pitch.

The difference was immediate. Within a single Monday, nine podcast leads came in — and that swift turnaround translated into six podcast interviews for Dion and his book, including Julie Harris Oliver, Bump in the Road, and Intimate Conversations with Men.

The campaign hadn't failed. It just needed new messaging.
